Happy New Year, friends! It is hard to believe that 2021 has come and gone. Through 2021 perhaps we faced many challenges and difficulties but one thing we can say is that WE MADE IT! We got through challenges and difficulties and we are here today celebrating a new year, a new month, a new beginning! Let our past failures remain in 2021 and let us look forward to the bountiful blessings and lessons ahead in 2022.

I typically do not make new years’ resolutions but I do set goals. I hope you have done the same. Write down those personal goals you would like to see manifested in this year. Once you’ve written down your goals then determine measurable steps that will allow you to progress towards accomplishing your goals. Remember, it is about progress and not perfection! We learn as we go.

In spite of us having to still deal with the affects of the pandemic, the current state of our society, and appalling inflation, I remain optimistic that this year will unveil the many blessings and benefits from the Lord. His provision is not based on the global economy. We have to remain focused and know that our hope is not in this present world but in a soon coming King! He promised to never leave us nor forsake us. He promised to be with us always, even to the ends of the earth or time as we know it.

I have some new ideas that I would like to implement here on the blog this year. We really need to keep each other encouraged and uplifted. I hope you will stay tuned as I endeavor to expand my platform. I really want this to be a space where you will find encouragement, inspiration, and motivation!
