Meet Carrie

My name is Carrie Hankins and I am a believer in Jesus Christ, foremost. The decision to surrender my heart and life to the Lord at the tender age of 16 has been life-changing and has steered the course of my path in which I have experienced the benefits of a loving God.

I am a wife to a wonderful man of God, Javon. I am the mother of two young adults, Ray and Shavon. I am also a grandmother to our first grandchild, Jael(Ya-el). Spending time with my family is one of my favorite things to do! Life is so short and unpredictable that each moment shared with our loved ones should be cherished.

I am a fun, loving person that love to encourage and uplift those I come in contact with. It’s always a privilege to be able to share my faith and my experiences with others. If I can help somebody as I travel along this journey then my living shall not be in vain! A renown quote by the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. sums up the desire I have in my heart to live for a higher purpose. It reads:

“Use me, God. Show me how to take who I am, who I want to be, and what I can do, and use it for a purpose greater than myself.”
